I am not sure why this bugs me so much ... but it does and maybe letting it out will help. I really hate it when someone calls me bulimic. I just want to yell at the top of my lungs that I am not bulimic ... I have bulimia. Such a small change of words ... but a huge difference in meaning for me. Its a disease ... not something that I am. Its like someone with cancer ... your not going to call them cancerous ... instead you will probably say they have cancer. So whats the difference with people who have eating disorders? Its a disease ... and I feel like I am being labeled.
