I was wondering if any of you have attended oa for anorexia and bulimia and weather or not you found it helpful or not. I ask this question becuase I was looking for a support group in my area for eating disorders and the only thing I can find is this oa group that lists it self under an eating disorder topic. Any advice is appreciated...

I went for awhile. I liked it because I could talk about my issues and people really got it. I'd say give it a try and if you don't like it then maybe it isn't the right place for you.

Ive heard that its really good. I have met someone whith anorexia who went for quite a few years and found the 12 step program related to everyone with an ED not just over eaters.

Its a good program. And a good place to talk, and to be heard, and to hear others.

OA varies greatly from city to city. In my town we read from the book "Anorexics and Bulimics Anonymous" (ABA) which is a powerful book. I highly recommend OA and also buying the book.

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
