I am trying to recover as well, and I have discovered that I can actually eat food that will not make me feel bad and still be healthy. I have been starving myself and bingeing and purging since I was 10 years old. That's 16 years! I have a 2 year old son and want to live to see him grow up. One thing I discovered, if you want to be ultra thin and still be healthy just ride a bike 45 minutes a day twice a day. Your metabolism will speed up and you can eat anything and not gain weight. Also fish is very healthy for you and tastes wonderful with the right stuff. I had to learn the hard way that starving yourself just makes it harder to lose weight because your metabolism slows down. Most importantly, you don't have the risk of dying if you just exercise but eat healthy as well.

You can eat healthy and excercise and not be overweight. Unfortunately I think most of us are obsessed with food. Balance is what it takes but that's the hardest to do.

TURNIPS are amazing...boil them and they taste like potatoes...with a little pepper and fat free butter....only like 13 calories...and GOOD for you!

i agree. also- i eat a lot of those frozen entrees. like smartones are the cheapest, they are lower calories and healthy... they are not big though, usually i get like the oriental chicken ones and then just add a bunch of frozen veggies to the meal and it tastes good!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
