I am an 11 year bulimic and new to talking about it. My therapists and friends are urging me to go inpatient. I am afraid. Does anyone have any input on this? Was it a success? Will I gain weight? What are the pros/cons? Are there any alternatives you can suggest?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
You don't want to go through all those years of eating disorders that many of us have been through. Eating disorders are deadly, many die from them. Look around at different treatment centers to see what you think will be the most helpful for you in your recovery. When will you be 12 years of age?
