I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. Hon, you say in your profile that you've never received help. You say over here you're hiding it from your parents and that they would have to make you get help. I think you have to do some soul searching about whether you're willing to receive help. I really hope you are, because these disorders waste so much time and steal so much joy. You're getting to a point where you're concerned that everyone around you is noticing you have this disorder. That should begin to show you that this is out of control, and something you need help with.
I am here at DS to SUPPORT you in your efforts to try to RECOVER from this very maladaptive, dangerous lifestyle. None of us are readily going to help you hide your ED. That would be very irresponsible on our part, and goes against all that the Eating Disorder Community on DS stands for.
You're young. I think your parents will need to know (eventually) if you want to get out of this mess before you damage you health and ruin your life.
Please talk to a guidance counsellor...at very least. You have an illness that's not going to get better on it's own! We're all here for you in your quest for health & sanity.
