That because our country is now nearly 70% overweight, it seems as though if you're not *clinically* overweight, you're TOO thin? Like you can't be a normal, healthy weight without being called anorexic/bulimic [which makes it especially worse for us!] or just "too skinny" in general.
Even after I've been at my healthy weight again for a bit, I'm still called too thin. But I'm not, I'm perfectly fine. And I feel it's like discrediting me for working so hard to get myself healthy again. Makes me kinda want to say screw this, you want to see skinny, I'll show you skinny.
And just go back to where I was a few months ago :( Arghh. Sometimes I wish people would just shut up and think before they speak.
Ok so I apologize for getting carried away, but it's been bothering me for some time now.

Don't let it get to you too much. If sometimes tells you you are too thin, tell them actually I'm not. I am healthy and proud of it.

Why is it that we even care how people see us? When my family looks at me they either say I'm getting fat or I am too thin. I can't do anything right. I just want to SCREAM.

Healthy weight is good - I find people, especially women, say a lot of things to others if they themselves are overweight - mostly to do with really poor body image - like I'm one to talk. I have been normal weight, underweight, and overweight and have been called 'too thin', 'anorexic', and 'pudgy & soft' respectively. It doesn't matter what you look like, some insecure female will say a rude comment to you. As for the American thing - I disagree, I think it is a North American thing - I live in Canada and it is the same thing here.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
