I am so devastated I am not permitted by my pdoc to go inpatient, I feel it would really help me. There seem to be so many great looking places in the US but there seems to be nothing in the UK. Its awful. Either you are shoved in a state institution (been there, done that) or you get nothing. I wish someone knew of somewhere I could go that doesnt cost a million pounds. I'm a combination of annoyed and upset...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
That really sucks!! COuld you maybe go over to the US?
If you can, see if you can come to the US or Canada. Write to different places in the US, preferrably ED counsels, and see if you can get a grant to come and get help. You deserve it. I know some places even offer beds to patients who are not well off. Also, try other places in Europe. I think I heard of a place in Norway or Sweden that is supposedly really good, though yes, expensive. But that's anywhere you go.
If you can't do that, get a therapist who you can see several times a week (I see mine 3x a week) and make sure you feel like you can trust them FULLY. Also, get a different doc, and enlist the help of a dietitian.
