Just a three second vent...
I'm on a bunch of meds that have a side-effect of weight gain. They increase appetite, retain water (not real weight I know, but I still hate it), slow down metabolism... everything.
I'm in a situation where I can't run five miles a day to offset it. I just can't stand it.
All it makes me want to do is starve. Starve because that seems like my only option ON the meds, go off the meds entirely, or binge - because it seems hopeless if I'm just going to gain weight even if I eat healthy.
Argh. If life would face me head on at least I could punch it in the face.
...enough griping. I'm better now. :P
Anyone else on meds that present problems?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
But, hey...electrodes don't make you gain weight. :)
