hey guys i'm new here. i haven't read many of the other posts, so im not sure if there is anything about this, (im sure there is), but i need help.
i've recently lost some weight, and now i find myself seriously overexercising, and i am so afraid to stop. i am terrified of gaining any weight back, but its getting ridiculous. im talking 1000+ calories a day burned running/on the elliptical. obv. the numbers on the machines are not completely accurate, but i enter my age/weight/etc. in them before beginning my workout, so im relatively sure they are accurate for the most part. and im only eating about that many calories or less (anywhere from 800-1000). so my question is, how can i cut back? will i gain weight?

hey i know where you are coming from!!! YOu need to eat some more "safe" foods if you are overexercising. Your metobolism will speed up. No doubt. You will see results in a week or so if you snack more. Try it at least. If you don't exercise don't.

thanks for the quick advice :). since you are a fitness instructor, (i noticed on your profile), i was wondering if would be able to confirm that this overexercising is the cause of my missing period for the past 4 monthes? haha. i know you there is no possible way for you to confirm that, and i AM going to the doctor on tuesday, but when i go, should i tell them about my excessive running? or my calorie restriction? i just feel as if they are going to run tests and tell me everything is normal, no underlying thyroid/pituitary problem.

well i don't know you that well yet... but i would love to get to know your history better. I would say yes to the missing periods and you should be honest to your doc about both caloric restriction and exercise. If not i am here for you for advice ok. Nothing is ever normal...lol. Keep in touch

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
