Hi guys, i'm new here and am really struggling with the fact that i've been diagnosed with anorexia. I originally went to my GP about 4 months ago re my mood and was diagnosed with depression, in wanting to be completely honest in this appointment i also told her about my ongoing battle with food and eating. Started on anti-depressants for the depression and started seeing a psyhologist. For the first say 3.5 months my psychologist and I focused on my depression however the last two sessions have been on my supposed eating disorder. I'm so confused because while I basically don't eat all day and even when i eat small amounts- purge as well as recently i have started to over-exercise i can't see that i have an eating disorder because i'm fat (despite substantial weight loss). My psychologist gave me a book to read last session (Life without Ed) and reading it has freaked me out because i'm actually starting to realise that i think i do have an ED. Was there anything in particular that made you guys understand/accept that you have an ED? I'm just so confused. (Sorry this was so long!!!)

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
