Ok... this lady at work tonight told me that she read somewhere that if you eat six walnuts 15 minutes before you eat a meal, then it helps you to not overeat because the walnuts have something in them that triggers the chemical signal to your brain that you are full. Has anyone heard this???

Nope, never heard about this one...maybe you could get this lady to find her source again...it would be interesting to know if her source is credible or not.
