Eating disorders are marked by an obsessive need to control the intake and/or purging of food. This community is dedicated to those struggling on the road to recovery. Join to discuss your experience with others and find support. Get advice, ask questions, and meet others who are going through similar struggles.
1. That you think this is a good idea in the first place.
2. That you say you LOVE this new way to get rid of your food.
3. The blood. (You can scratch your throat, you can abrade your throat, you can eventually get what's known as a Mallory-Weiss Tear.)
Since you're already in therapy, I suggest bringing this whole thing up to your therapist immediately.
I'm not going to criticize you for "loving" the feeling. God knows, most of us do when we start. But then it shifts, the disorder takes control - and all you will EVER be thinking about is when you can binge and when you can purge. This idea you have that you can only do it when you really feel like it is what traps many of us.
I don't know what to say...because I remember your past posts. You seem to be driving yourself toward this, have been for awhile. It is concerning to me, and I sincerely hope that you can look at what is going on with new eyes and start striving toward recovery.
Destroying your life in pursuit of a number is not worth it.
