I sort of took a break from DS, not for any particular reason. My bulimia has been latent (I think that's a good word) lately. It rears it's ugly head only occasionally. More than anything, I see myself binging. I'm fairly sure this is something I can correct with a little more attention while I eat, so I'm keeping a food journal now. I need to get healthier though, which for me does include loss of weight/ reduction in BMI.
I got back on DS because a very good friend of mine got in some legal trouble and now needs to face his alcoholism. He asked me for help with finding a program, and I'm glad to help, but man is it stressful.
Anyway, I guess I'm just saying hello again, and I'll be stopping in more often now. I know this is NOT a weight loss forum, but having struggled with EDNOS and bulimia for so long, and still occasionally symptomatic, I feel much more comfortable coming here for support. I hope this is OK with you guys.

Of course you are welcome here. You should know how awesome the people on this site are. And I hope you can keep ED out of your life. Keeping a food journal sounds good and you seem to go about getting a healthy BMI the right way. And if your friend is stressing you out too much and making you sick you need to distance yourself for your own good. You can't be of any help if it is making yourself sick. You have to think about yourself first.

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
