American culture is consentrated on being thin. Thin=beautiful, successful, happy. We hear everyday about eating disorders that plague celebrities. 80% of women are dissatisfied with their bodies...80%!!!! If you are happy with yourself, then you don't "fit in." It seems like our society breeds eating disorders...it breeds unhappiness and disatisfaction with ourselves. It seems like it is the "cool" thing to have an eating disorder. You are trying so hard to fit into the idolized image of beauty that you are harming, killing yourself for it. Why??
