I have Alcohol Responsive Myoclonic Dystonia and I also have diagnosed OCD and Anxiety Disorder. I was reading research recently that the same suspected gene defect that causes Alcohol Responsive Myoclonic Dystonia also causes these same psycological disorders in some sufferers. I was wondering if anyone else has read that and or like me suffers from both physical and emotional / psycological symptoms.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I did print off some of the info I found when I googled 'Alcohol Responsive Myoclonic Dystonia'. Howard suffers from these muscle spasms, though I don't know if they are alcohol responsive. It was an interesting read!
Thanks!
God Bless!
