My son is 11, he is going up into secondary school in September and has his year 6 SAT's starting in just 7 weeks. If i do not get him reading quicker he will not be entered for his literacy one and he currently has the reading age of a 6 year old. I have talked to him til i am blue in the face and been about as negative as a person can be (i realise this is not a good thing which is why i am here) He is so intelligent i have told him as such so many times, i have enficised the famous and intelligent people that have dyslexia and nothing seems to motivate him into wanting to put in the time it is going to take to get into his SAT's. Any ideas on positive ways of motivating him and helping him?
