Do you think dreams have a meaning?

I think most of us dream from memory.But once in a while when we have a dream that has a lasting effect,a lingering that seems real and something that we can connect to.I believe it does.
The bible speaks of dreams and how god dealt with many in dreams.What do you think?

I believe dreams have meaning. Meaning to the dreamer alone. Our brains spend a great deal of time, while we sleep, cross-referencing new experiance into existing data. Some of this cross referencing can bear interesting ideas that are displayed oddly in our subconcious. (At least that's what I think.)

Thats a very interesting thought and in many ways you are very correct.But what about the dreams that you dream that comes to pass later just the way you dreamed it? How is that possiable?

I believe that to be called the premonitionary dream...ie...spirit in it`

sorry my computer has taken on a life of it`s own

I believe that is what is termed a premonitionary dream ..ie our Father in his wisdom has sent us via our spirit helpers... in our dream state where we are in essence unconcious to the world ...what he wants us to know so that we can act accordingly ....ie for warned is for armed .

I'm not sure about premonitions. I guess I don't really think of them as dreams. Maybe they are how we tap into 'the force'.

I think dreams have to do what we go through in our life...at least sometimes.

I think all life including our dreams and visions in meditations a real experiences and all of life including those things are what has made me who I am.

Some dreams are just to try and resolve a material delemma or worry.
Some are far more life changing experiences.

That is my belief.

    I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
