Dizziness & Vertigo Support Group
Dizziness is the sensation of instability. Vertigo refers to dizziness with a sensation of motion. Vertigo is more likely than other types of dizziness to be associated with nausea, vomiting, or double vision, to occur even when lying down, and to feel better with the eyes closed. If you are a frequent sufferer of dizziness or vertigo, join the group and find support.

Hey all! Just joined and hoping I can find some answers to this problem I'm having.
Every now and then, I feel this weird pulsing in my head and I feel really agitated and distressed. It only lasts a second or two, but it happens over and over. I've had an MRI, MRA, blood tests, x-rays, and am having other tests done soon. Not sure what they are. Does this sound familiar to anyone? My blood pressure is normal, so that's not it. It isn't vertigo because the room doesn't move.
The docs think it might be "Silent Strokes" or "Vasculitis". Ugh!

My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
It does sound like a vascular issue. I know of a person who had variable blood pressure in her head and she complained of whooshing sounds.
Just shooting from the hip. No real ideas. Please let us know what you find out.
