I was dizzy for 7 weeks. Diagnosed with benign positional vertigo. Prescribed Valium (but didn't take it). I've grown up on alternative medicine my whole life and started taking Kudzu Root for my digestive system (because my stomach was hurting). Within two days, the vertigo went away - completely and hasn't returned even when i stopped taking the Kudzu. I bought it at Whole Foods Market in the Asian foods section. The culinary use is as a sauce thickener, but it's also considered one of the top 50 chinese herbs. It melts over heat in liquid (apple juice in my preference) and then you drink it. I used to drink it when i was little and was sick, it always helped with everything, but i had no idea it would treat my vertigo. I'm thrilled. To me, it's a miracle, the doctors had no answers for me and i couldn't even turn over at night without feeling like i just jumped off a merry-go-round or get up out of bed! I'd never had anything like this before, so it was very frustrating and it seemed like there was really no end to it. I wanted to share my story.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
