Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...
I'm struggling big time today! Not about the divorce/separation - that shit is what it is.
I'm at work today and struggling - it's not snowing, it's pleasant out and I really don't want to be here after a week, lol.
Need to get busy - but I keep putting things off arghhhhhhhhh.

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I have to get some things done and I need to get out and get organized.. I did a few send out resumes this a.m, I need to write a Thankyou to an interview I had last week, I need to find out what the status of getting the ex off the mortgage note, I need to work on my tutorial for Microsoft for at least an hour, my house is a wreck, and I need to get my typing speed back up to 55 an minute I did well on the Word processing test, but dropped my typing speed!, I have a turkey to cook, a tiny one that I defrosted... I have a legal letter to write.
I could look at all my accounts and figure out how I am going to make it though another month.. and I should go to the club and work out. Oh and I have to go to the bank, on the other side of town.
The sun is shining.. and I do not feel like doing anything but fool around on the computer and look at things..
I got through a major pile of work and now I'm putting off attacking the next one. Got to do it though!
