I was just diagnosed today. After three days of pain and me thinking I had another kidney stone. I finally went to the doctor today. They did blood work which showed elevated white cell count and I was running a low grade fever.I went for a CT scan and got the results about 3 hours later. I have diverticulitis. They put me on two different antibiotics and some pain pills. I have been researching everything I can find about the illness and it has absolutely scared me to death. Are there ever any happy endings after being diagnosed with this illness? Will welcome any advise that anyone can give.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
