I just got home from the hospital with a new diagnosis of diverticulitis. I'm puzzled because I don't fit into the low fiber group that is at risk for this but somehow it found it's way to my sigmoid. I will get a colonoscopy in about 8 weeks to rule out something else which honestly scares me to death because of my diet history. Anyway, thankful to have found this community and would like to ask questions about treatments. Started on Levaquin and Flagyl in hospital but had to stop the Flagyl because of this horrific headache (almost worst than the abdominal pain). Now being switched to Cleocin with the Levaquin. Hope it works....Anyone else been on something other than the typical Flagyl and Levaquin?
