I can't tell you how happy I am to find this group! I feel so alone. I'm 48 hours out of a six day hospital stay on IV antibiotics. This is my second attack and second hospital stay. My Dr. was treating it at home but it would not resolve after 4 days - it just got worse. My first bout with this was 18 months ago. My Dr. says that is too close and is pushing surgery. I thought I was being careful about my diet but it's so hard since there aren't any guidelines. How often do most people have attacks and are most treated at home? Do any of you take lactobacilus to get back what is being killed by the Cipro? I bought some today but am not sure I should take it. Also, I have cellulitis in my arm from the IV site. Anyone have experience with that? Thank you for any advice!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
