I started doing really good with dieting and working out on New Years, then after eating salads for 4 days, I got really sick, to my stomach, and throat and head, My stomach is not so bad today, but still feeling dizzy, and having a fever. Should I work out anyway?

I don't think you should work out if you have a fever.

I actually asked my doctor this last week and she said if you have a fever, NOT to work out. Take care of yourself....I hope you feel better!!!

thanks chickadee and walker, I did not work out yesterday, my temp was up and down, while the usual work out time I did not have a fever, I did not work out cause it had been up and down all day yesterday, and I didn't want to take any chances on getting sicker, but hopefully today I will be doing better, and will be able to work out again

One of the main objectives to lossing weight is to be more healthy, so it's best to take is slow and lose the weight in a moderate healthy way. It takes longer but it lasts. You need to take care of yourself.

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
