when you join weight watchers they set a goal weight for youo. Often it is unatainable. If your dr writes a note stating a different goal weight they will allow you to be at that weight instead of theirs. I am a life time member . my goal was 125 lbs. I am 5'8" the goal was given to me at 37. Now being older that is totally out of line so I thought I could not go back. My dr. wrote the note and now I still go for free and have all the benefits ofmy gold key
