I have always struggled w/my weight since I can remember & when I was 17 I was diagnosed w/a rare disease that they call iih or the fat girls disease, which causes extreme headaches, blindness, dizziness & back in those days they really had no clue what to do for it except give you steroids (which make you fat) spinal taps (9) & what I eventually had done by putting a shunt in my spine. I went into a type of remission for about 18 yrs until I started having symptoms all over again five months ago, I started going blind & having extreme headaches along w/virtigo & that's when I knew this disease was back with a vengence & my shunt had prob stopped working. I had already lost about 75lbs at this point so I was thinking all their studies must be wrong, being that they blame this on weight, but I was willing to try anything at this point & in the last 5 mos I have managed to lose another 20lbs on top of the 75 I had already lost. I still have about 30 more to go but I am continuing to show great improvement & may not go blind & it is so hard to imagine weight can have that big of an impact on what can happen to even your eyes. I don't know if that's the cause of all this but I'm feeling very good about losing almost 100lbs wahoo!! Just another reason to eat better! Now...if I can just make the pain go away with the weight, that would be a true miracle.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
