I have though about trying to drink the slim fast shakes 3 time a day instead of the normal twice a day and for going regular foods. I don't get very hungry after I have drank one so I figured If I have one for dinner instead of food maybe it will help me loose faster and if I do get hungry I can make some homemade smoothies (fruit and veggie)with the whey protien to give myself that extra boost.So what do ya'll think any advice would be great.

theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??
I tried that for a while and it just got boring and didn't work!! :( I would recommend that if you're going to have shakes a couple of times a day, you also have a nutritious meal full of veggies, protein and fibre. And of course exercise - it's sometimes hard to do, but it's the only way! Stick with it and I'm sure you'll see results - but make sure you keep in touch with your doctor etc too.

A nutritious diet is necessary for a healthy metabolism. A healthy metabolism is necessary to have the energy to exercise. Although slimfast and multivitamins contain a lot of nutrients, there are many nutrients unknown to scientists in whole, unprocessed foods. If you keep dinner in your diet for now you can use dinner time to test recipes for lean meats, veggies, and whole grains.
Lastly, 3 slim fast per day is less than 1,000 calories. Even with an additional homemade smoothier you are likely below your nutritional needs. 3 slimfasts would be 102 grams of sugar, or 24 teaspoons of sugar! That will put a huge damper on your energy levels and may increase your risk of developing type-2 diabetes.
Then you have made it even harder to lose weight because your metabolism has gone into hibernation.
You want to do things to speed up your metabolism and a drastic cut to daily calorie total is not the way.
If you want to cut back calories, do it the right way by reducing the total calorie count by no more than 500/day. So if you total needs for a day were 2000, don't go lower than 1500.
I would not rely on shakes or drinks.
Go with some good old fashioned sweaty cardio and you will get healthier results.
