I'm double the weight I should be and my doctor has asked me to have a goal of at least losing ten pounds (obviously to get me started). The biggest problem I have is exercise. When I walk a short distance my lower back hurts terribly. I know this is from carrying all the extra weight in the front, but it's making it hard to stay motivated since I can only walk very short distances.
Has anyone experienced this and how did you overcome it? How long before you were able to feel the difference?
