I am so beyond stressed! I am following my diet and exercise but I have lost control of my emotions and composure. There is just so much going on lately and Christmas will be here before we know it. I feel so overwhelmed by everything. Looking through some of the other topics, I see that several other people are having troubles as well. I've heard so much about how stress can actually cause you to gain weight, and that is the last thing I need right now. I need some ideas to help out with the stress so that I can stay focused on changing my lifestyle. Maybe we could all list some tips to fight stress and to help all of us get through the difficult times.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I got a cheap little bubbling "foot spa" from target a few years ago and it's been invaluable. When I really feel like I'm going to explode, I make a cup of hot tea, fill the foot bath up with warm/hot water and just sit & soak for a bit, follow it up with some foot lotion and slipper socks.
It's easier to do anything when my feet feel good.. and the soaking bit, if nothing else, just forces me to sit still and not move at all or try to do anything for 10-20 minutes.. which in itself is very relaxing :)
