I was diagnosed with hypoglycemia last summer, and so since then have been trying to eat healthier (low carb, sugar free). However, I get so sick of the South Beach/Atkins food! The recipes in the cookbooks are, for the most part, complicated, and call for expensive ingredients. I'm a college student...I can't afford fish and steaks!! I've tried adapting simpler recipes, like banana bread or soup recipes I found, to make them better for me, by using wheat flour instead of white, and Splenda instead of sugar, but it doesn't usually work out for me. Does anyone know of a web site where there are specifically low carb, sugar free recipes that are simpler?
