You just need to find your motivation. What inspires you? Where do you want to go in life? What quality of life do you see yourself having?
When you find something that will give you your inner motivation - the rest (the cooking and the exercise) really isn't that hard. Because you WANT to do it!

I am finally ready so...the first step is the hardest. Do you have a Curves near you? It is a commitment..it takes only 30 min per day and it is FUN!!! It is a great way to push off onto your new lifestyle of "doing better". Start with positive statements & positive thoughts that you want to stand on & most of all prayer. God wants you to be all that you want to be. He is faithful...ask Him each time you are tempted to cheat...ask him for more strength...he is so GOOD!!!!
What I do is tell my kids we will go for a walk and then there is no getting out of it! Plus after you start being a little more active, you will be more energetic and look forward to those walks or workouts.
The book has tooks for staying committed and for identifying self-defeating attitudes and behaviors and tools for sticking to decisions. It works with any diet or exercise plan--the point is overcoming the mental blocks that are holding you back.
