My exercise instructor gave us all some advice that I would like to share - she said to never miss a meal - our body is like a fire, it needs to continue to have fuel to burn efficiently, ie if we don't feed a fire it goes out or over fuel it it burns sluggishly. Our body and our metabolism is the same you need to maintain your food intake and never miss a meal to ensure you maintain a high calorie burning rate, that is your metabolism. I found this useful, I hope you all do as well. It goes some way to explain all those thin people who eat everthing in sight whilst others only have to look at food to put on weight!
