Just need some support from all the great people at DS. I am "getting sloppy". I haven't gone out of control but I need to tighten up a bit. I'm not exercising as much as I should and I'm not watching what I eat as carefully as I need to. I'm in a "middle of the road" rut. Not being good, not being so bad - just not focused. I haven't been to the website as often as I should -haven't journaled - haven't read your journals in a while.
Looking for your great success stories - looking for your great dieting and exercise tips- looking for a "kick in the pants" - looking for your support and "tough love" if necessary.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Tip #1: If you eat frozen meals, like Lean Cuisines or Weight Watchers Smart-Ones, after you cook it, take it out of the container and put it on a plate with some veggies. Adding veggies will make the meal more filling and satisfying.
Tip #2: Journal what you eat, even when you are bad. If you eat something that doesnt fit into your diet plan, write it down and immediately get back on the plan. Dont beat yourself up over it and dont go on a crazy eating binge. Its OK to be bad once in awhile.
Dieting is a lifestyle change, not a temporary way of eating.
In the last two years, I have gone from a size 22W (which was tight) to a size 8. I work on maintaining it every day. Some days are harder than others.
Good Luck.
