I can't seem to eat a small salad. For some reason the vegetable portion is always a serving for three (never the protein) and the dressing is therefore too much as well and I always eat pretty much the whole thing. Usually I'm stuffed like a turkey and even sick at times. I don't know why I eat such a big salad and can't measure differently. I put it on a normal plate, but it becomes a mountain. How embarrassing to share this.... HELP PLEASE.

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. put your salad on a normal plate, just like you always do. on top of your plate, put a big coffee mug. small cereal bowl. measuring cup, etc., upside down, covering the salad. any salad that doesn't fit inside -- take it off the plate.
as far as protein, when you're measuring it out, it should be about the size of your fist, so set it out on a plate and hold your fist up to it, adjust accordingly.
Dressing? Here's my husband's tip. He put's it in a small bowl/ramekin and dips eatch bite in, giving himself just as much as he wants on each bite.
