hey, i'm looking for advice on where to start on my diet. I need to lose about 35 pds(i weight 195pds)and i searched a lot on the web but couldn't find anything. One of the sites that I came across was www.weightlosswonders.us but it was an unbiased informative site. Can anyone direct me to where I can find some solid information? Thanks!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
but i needed a change. so now im doing south beach. it's a balance of protein fat and carbs. it's a really good plan if you want to add muscle while losing weight. in a high carb low fat diet, your body will burn muscle with the fat.
really it's all about eating well and exercising. it's as difficult and easy as that. strenght training is also important. the more muscle you have the more calories you burn. also, you dont want to look like one of those skinny people that is shaped like a fat person bc they have no tone and core strength.
the real hard part of any diet is making that commitment. so good luck! let me know how it goes!
