i have been overweight my whole life!
but now that i am a teenager the pressure is ON to loose weight and be one of those girls you see in music videos!
by NO MEANS would i ever want to be one of those girls...
but i just want to loose weight!
here is a basic day for me (it was actually today):
7am: wake up/shower/get dressed
8:30am: school
11:40am: lunch: beagle with butter
12:30pm:school
4:00pm: leave school hungy
5:00pm:get home n raid cupboard but unsuccessful in finding n e thing
6:00pm: dinner: one piece of small fish and a handful of fries
dessert: a fruit roll up
8:00pm: snack (NOT ALWAYS!) a few plain chips and a tonic water
10:30pm: bed
i dont think i eat that unhealthily even though today was one of my most unhealthy days!
i dont get time to exercise because between 6 and 9 pm i am either doing homework or i am really tired!
please help!
i did a non eating diet in grade 8 n i lost a lot of weight...i know its unhealthy but i am considering doing it again
my BMI is a few points short of being obese

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I know how you feel I used to be the same way, but please please don't starve yourself, it is a very slippery slope and is much worse in the long run.
I went through a period where I was eating only 200 calories a day and verging on anorexia, but as soon as I started eating what is considered a normal amout of food my weight rocketed. and the eating disorder spiraled into binge eating disorder.
these disorders are completely life consumeing and ruined all my teenage years.
I know its tough but instead of trying to be like the other girls try to love yourself for who you are, I have had a look at your photos and you are a beautiful girl, being skinny isen't everything.
however if you do want to lose some weight I do suggest you adopt a much healthier diet, but have fun with it don't let it control you.
never eat less than 1500 calories a day, its just not worth it in the long run
try and eat lots of fresh fruit and vegtables, and avoid processed foods
the chips and fries definantly won't help
feed your body regularly with good healthy foods to avoid hunger pangs which make you reach for unhealther foods
join a sports team at school and do exercise which you enjoy
just do a little at a time and the weight will fall off

Not eating won't fix anything. *hug*
Avoid all diet food, especially anything containing aspartame, splenda, or sweet-n-low. Cut animal fat, like butter. Use vegan butter instead. Eat breakfast, real granola is a good option. Bagels are iffy, check the ingredients. Avoid high fructose corn syrup at any cost. It is a fettening agent (super highly refined sugar). And drink alot of bottled/filtered water, not tap water. Add this to the rest of the advise on the page, and you should get thinner and healthier.
