I am really hoping to get some weight off for xmas as I am currently at 230lbs! I have put on weight through overeating due to mood stabilising medication and I am hoping to lose around 2 stones by xmas. Am I being too ambitious do you think or with the right commitment do you reckon I could get through it?
I am doing it the only way that ever works for me and that is going low carb. It gives me a clearer head and it makes me avoid certain foods like sweet/starchy foods that once I start on I cannot stop. I've also started measuring myself with a tape so that even though the scales may say one thing, the tape measure usually says otherwise. I have already lost 3cm from my waist!
What are your challenges for the xmas season?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
