I am new to the group and needing some advise. I have not lost any weight since i had and son and he is now 5yrs old (lol). I have decided to stop being lazy and lose some weight. It was that and seeing some paperwork from the doctor that listed me as obese that prompted the realization that i needed to shed some pounds!!! That was the last straw. I have joined a gym, but have a hard time getting motivated. My son plays football for the rec dept and I became a team mom, which provides a litte physical exercise, but not nearly enough. I have no idea how to even get started. I am 6ft tall and weigh approx 230lbs. Any suggestions?? any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
