I am large and in charge LOL. I am trying to loose weight. I have been on a lower carb diet (not atkins) for awhile. It works when I follow it. But that is not the point.
I CANNOT eat soy or soy products... but I can have soy oil. The other soy stuff cause horrible horrible pain and makes me an emotional wreck. But mostly it is the pain that gets me. It can get to the point where it hurts to move. Every joint and muscle will throb. It's horrible.
I have been very careful to keep soy out of my diet. But lately I found it horribly difficult. Have you tried to eat a soy free diet lately? It's frustrating. Everything I that was "safe" before now has soy lechthin or soy protien isolate. I constantly have to read ingredients. I was using Hunt's spaghetti sauce b/c they were soy free. Now, they have soy. Where I live, it is almost impossible to find bread that doesn't have soy. And the soups all have soy now too.
I give up! What am I supposed to do? I don't want to go to a doctor just so they can ignore me or screw me up again. More than anything I am frustrated! Why do they keep tainting food with this allergen? I am so irritated and mad and frustrated and hungry! ARGH!

That is too bad. I don't have your problem but maybe you should try this post in the allergy group. I am sure someone else has to have this same issue. I have noticed though that soy is in everything these days. And if its not in the food then it was made at a plant where soy is also...good luck

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
