I never exercise, but I started walking tonight as part of my New Year's resolutions. Another part of my weight management resolution is to start a healthy diet. However, I've tried and failed at weight management many times in the past; mainly, I believe, because I either didn't incorporate any exercise into my life or I overwhelmed myself by adding exercise and diet all at the same time. My idea this time is to start walking first, and then when that becomes habit to add my diet to my lifestyle because I usually don't have much trouble starting a diet. The only hitch is that I don't really have any idea as to how long it will take me to form a healthy walking habit. Any suggestions?
