I've gained 30 pounds in just about a year and there is no real explaination for it. I've been to the doctor and I'm now seeing a diet doctor. I'm 6 feet tall and don't look overweight but the gain worries me. I had horrrible eating habits before and was very thin. I actually made the decision that I wanted to be more healthy and starting eating better and exercising and all this weight came on. My doctor had put me on an anxiety medication called citalopram and after a year I stopped taking it because it felt like it was giving me anxiety. It was after that time that I started to notice my clothes not fitting. I read online that stopping some drugs can interfere with your glucose inhibitors in your body and make you gain weight. Has anyone heard of this or does anyone have any advice??
