My husband and I started on a weight loss plan six days ago. Our problem was portion control. So, we decided to use frozen healthy meals for lunch and dinner. It has helped us tremendously! For breakfast we have oatmeal with berries and coffee. Fresh fruit, raw veggies or 100 cal. pre-packaged items for snacks. We eat salad with tuna or crab or a frozen healthy meal for lunch. For dinner we have a salad and a frozen healthy meal.I started out at 206.9 lbs. and 5 days later at 200 exactly. The neat thing is we are not starving ourselves. Yesterday I took my daughter to see a movie and instead of eating the ususal extra-butter popcorn I brought along a couple pre-packaged snacks at 100 cal. each. We have decided that when my husband and I eat out we will share an entree and make healthy choices. Just wanted to share our experience and see if anyone had any thoughts or ideas as well.
