So I was reading in a magazine (First) about this diet that I think makes sense and I know I can follow. It says to eat protein and fat together with vegetables and not to ever eat protein and fat with carbs (like bread) and starch. It says to eat good carbs (whole wheat) with vegetables and not with protein or fat meals. Something about digesting and insulin levels. It also said to eat fruit alone on an empty stomach because of its acidity. I'm going to try it. So far, I don't have that energy slump after eating things like pasta. Hope it works!
