Hi, My names Cass.. After struggling with my weight for a good two years and finally deciding to do something about it, I have gotten down to 53kgs, or 116.84 lb, which is average for my height because I am very short. After reaching my weight loss goal, I decided I wanted to tone up my body, and build up some muscle. I have been running on my treadmill and doing a total of 8kms each day, but in two 60minute sessions (one in the morning and one at night). I also lift weights each morning and night. I have only noticed a soreness in my leg muscles occassionally but apart from that have seen no results. My weight however, has increased by 3kgs in 2 weeks, which I am not too happy about. My question, finally after this long explanation is, could this be from building muscle, (I have heard muscle weighs more than fat?) and how long usually does it take to see results when toning up? Any advice and/or tips welcome =]
