I am a 28 year old female who needs all the advice I can get. I am currently Battling a deadly disease. I have end stage interstitial pulmonary fibrosis. I need a Double lung transplant. I have to lose at least 70 lbs before I can be put on the transplant list. I have been trying to watch how many calories I eat. And I do what I can for exercise but it is hard because I can't do a whole lot because of my lungs being on their last legs. I am on continuous oxygen 6 liters. Does anyone have any helpful tips to help me get the weight off fast.

stick to a 1,500 cal diet (or as recommended by your doc) I would go in a check what exactly you should do because of your lungs. Walking is the best fat burner though!! If you can just do little thinks like park farther away from stores it will help. Maybe get a pedometer and make it a goal to increase your number of steps? I hope you can get a transplant!! So sorry about your health condition. Please see your doctor for help on this one!

First of all..... I hope this all happens for you!! Your post about made me cry. I would say... stick to a low calorie diet. Count your calories.. 1200-1500 a day will help.. or whatever your drs recommend. Lots of water too... If you have a ball, try some easy stretches!! Walking is good too... if you can manage! Best of thoughts.

I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
