I have kidney diseas - and have had this problem since birth. I have 1 and 1/4 kidneys and suffer from chronic bladdar and kidney infections all my life. These infections are reducing the strength of the 1 kidney, and at 43 I have been told that within a year to 2, I will need dialysis and a kidney transplant. I am hpoing to find comfort from those who have already had/continue with dialysis. Just want to know EVERYTHING to expect - how long does it take; how many days/week doe you have it; does it hurt; side-effect; diet changes if any; life style changes if any; etc. Thanx for caring
