I forgot my meds this a.m. and ate like a pig at lunch. I waited two hours and took my bs and it was 228. That's the highest I've ever seen it. I'm at work, so I tried to do a bit of exercise, which may or may not have helped. I'm still really full and feel bad, physically. Mentally, I feel like I'm close to killing myself with the sugar I ate. Wonder why I would eat that way when I KNOW it's bad for me.
I'm thinking I'll go home in a couple of hours and just go to bed..sleep it off.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to handle these times? I seldom get this way, am on anti-depressants along with Avandemet.. so maybe not having all the meds has made me feel 'down'. Need a strategy to get through this today and how to avoid it again.

Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
One stress reliever that also lowers your blood sugar quickly is yoga. A few Standing Suns and a Camel or two will give you a burst of energy. To feel miore in control of the situation, be more finicking about taking your meds.
Who knows anyway--good luck!
