I don't know if anybody can help me figure this out but Monday, I had a DR. appt, came home, ate a small bowl of grits, I done nothing any different that I usually do. I have been having trouble sleeping for a very long time, only a couple of hours a night, if I'm lucky, tried alot of things, nothing works. But anyway, I decided to lay down and take me a nap, I slept about 45 min. when I woke up I felt really weird, felt really nervous, couldn't really think clear. Checked my sugar, and it was 63. I felt like I was gonna pass out, I was really scared, I was home by myself. I am still trying to figure out WHY this happened, it has never happened before. I started drinking reg. mt dew and ate a spoon of peanut butter, in about 20 minutes it was 97. I have never had much trouble with my diabetes, until here lately but it has been running a little high, A WHOLE lot of stress , due to brother-in-law fighting cancer. I take Janumet and now amaryl. I found out I had diabetes in 2005, I am sorry to say, I only know the basics, just always done things right I guess because it has always stayed within range, never any problems. What would have happened to me if I had not woke up when I did? What would have caused it to drop like that, I have noticed that even if my sugar gets 80 or below, I get really nervous and shaky, but 63 was very scary!! I hope somebody can help me figure this out. Thank you for listening!! Lori
