I am confused about times to test blood sugars. For the first month after I was diagnosed I was testing alot....about 12 to 15 times a day. I was testing 4 times after I ate at 30 min, 1 hour, 2 hours and 3 hours after a meal. I found that my highest sugar levels were between 30 minutes and 1 hour..and then gradually went down back to pre-meal level with-in the 3 hours. When I test after a meal should I be looking for the highs? or should I be looking to test after 2 hours to see if I am getting back down to pre-meal levels? I have only been testing about 6 times a day now, and dont know what time after eating I should be testing. Thanks for the advise in advance.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
