My mom had diabetes type 2 and so does my boyfriends dad. My mom took pills but the ones that were listed don\'t sound familar to me. Anyways, my mom used to always want to take my blood sugar with her little marker lookin thing that pokes the finger. I was always such a baby about it. I would start saying ow before she even touched my finger with it. She would have to put it on the highest level just to poke through my dad\'s skin and the smallest for mine. My sister and I get tested every year for diabetes just in case. Anyways, I just wanted to share my story.
